Isagenix vs Herbalife – Comparing Different Parts of the Market

Before we start off into anything, please know that this review is completely unbiased, as we have no association with either Isagenix or Herbalife in any way. We just want to bring these two products side-by-side so you can compare and decide for yourself which one is the best for your life, diet, budget and body!

Introduction – Comparing the Two Shakes

In this comparison, we match up two of the larger network marketing company’s products side-by-side to see which one is better. From Isagenix, we will use their current IsaLean shake, in the Creamy French Vanilla flavor. From Herbalife, we will use their Formula 1 Nutritional Shake, also in the French Vanilla flavor.

So right off the bat, here are a few major differences that we noticed:

1) Isagenix is Significantly More Expensive

Right off the bat, we realize that Isagenix shakes are about 3 times more expensive than Herbalife. This can make a huge difference for a lot of people, but we have been informed by Isagenix Associates that the retail price is about 20% more than the price offered to registered associates.

Regardless, this is a big difference between the two shakes. Even though Isagenix packs a bunch more nutrients, vitamins, minerals, etc. (which we’ll dive more into in a second), you’ll have to decide if that value will make a difference for you.

2) Different Protein Sources

Another major difference is the different protein sources of each shake. The Isagenix shakes are all whey-protein based (a major reason they are priced higher), and the Herbalife shakes are all soy-based protein. Now this may not make too much of a difference to you, but for people with animal allergies, or even soy allergies, this can make a big difference. The vote is still out on whether soy protein is very good for your body or not. You’ll have to decide which is best for you individually.

3) Isagenix is Packed With More of Everything

Por último, Isagenix shakes seem to be packed with a ton more of about every single nutrient, vitamin, and mineral compared to Herbalife. This means Isagenix shakes will definitely keep you more full for longer, better energized, and more. They are definitely a more ‘potent’ shake with less filler ingredients.

Conclusion – Kia or Lexus?

So in the end, we conclude that these two shakes are just two very different products. Herbalife shakes are the much more budget variety, come in significantly cheaper per-shake at only $1.13, but have much less of everything. Isagenix shakes on the other hand are almost $4 per shake, but deliver a ton more in terms of nutrition and ingredients.

The comparison is like choosing between Kia vs. Lexus, and will really just come down to what you prefer and are looking for!
